I thank the Lord because He gave us the ultimate gift. He gave us a way to be saved thru His Son Christ Jesus and be reconciled back to God. What could be better than Gods gift to us? Nothing! God Gave Us A Gift:
Ephesians 2:8-9 says 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.” I’m so very thankful salvation does not rest on me!
John 3:16 says that 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
1 Timothy 2:55 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:28-30 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
Faith In Jesus Christ
Philippians 3:8-9 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Salvation Is Not By Works: Thank You Lord!
Galatians 2:16 says, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
Amen the greatest gift of all is Jesus Himself and to know the Father!
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
