Salvation

Salvation is the most important thing you need to think about. If you died today, where would your soul go after you die? Heaven or Hell? The bible says if you die in your sins, you must pay for them by going to hell. If we die with our faith in Jesus, our sins have been forgiven and we are without sin so we will go to heaven, and be with the Lord. This topic is so very important to think about and understand. Most people don’t give too much time to think about where they will spend eternity. They are too busy with this life. I get that, we’re all busy and have a lot on our plate in this world, but God must come first. Our salvation is critically important because hell is real and it is a place of torment. Make sure today that you are saved. Make today the day that you believe in the Lord Jesus. There’s no better time like the present to do this. Repent! Repent from an unbelieving heart to a believing heart. Read this:

Isn’t it amazing that the God and creator of the universe loves us so much that He would send His holy and perfect Son to save us!? That is LOVE! You might ask, why did God send His Son? Well because we are sinful people and we all fall short of the glory of God. Sin cannot be where God is. So if we are with sin we cannot be where God is because God is perfect & holy. God sent His Son to be the final sacrifice for our sins by dying on the cross for us. Jesus was the only one who could pay this price. He was & is holy and sinless. He died for us so that we may have life thru Him. Read the scriptures below.

Romans 3:23 - We are all ruined with sin and fall short of the glory of God.
Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 - For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin.
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Matthew 25:46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
John 8:24 says 24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

You see, we needed a way to be saved of our sins and that is thru our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the ONLY one who can save us and He did 2000 plus years ago! Thank you Jesus!

Acts 4:12 says, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

John chapter 14:6 Jesus said “I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me.”

Today is the day of salvation! Are you saved? If you believe in the Lord Jesus already, Glory to God! You are my brother or sister in Christ! Hallelujah! If you are not saved yet, God has given us such a simple way to be saved. BELIEVE in the Lord JESUS Christ and you will be saved! That’s it!

If you believe in the Lord, you believe the written word of God. If you believe in Jesus you are SAVED and the truth resides in you. At the moment of believing, you are sealed and baptized by the Holy Spirit. Your salvation can never be taken away from you. You become a member of His body. You are His. Let’s take a look at some scriptures that talk about our faith in Christ and salvation.

Other Scriptures That Talk About The Gospel:
Romans 1:16 says [The Just Live by Faith] for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Mark 1:15 says “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Romans 10:9-10 says, 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto

God Gave Us A Gift!
Ephesians 2:8-9 says 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.” I’m so very thankful salvation does not rest on me!
John 3:16 says that 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
1 Timothy 2:55 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:28-3028 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

Faith In Jesus Christ
Philippians 3:8-9 8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Salvation Is Not By Works!
Galatians 2:16 says, 16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

*When the bible speaks of salvation and you see the word Repent, I would like you to understand that the word Repent means the changing of one’s mind from unbelieving to believing. Repent does not mean to confess every single sin. That’s impossible. No one can remember every sin they’ve committed. So with that being said, repent from an unbelieving heart to a believing heart in Jesus.

Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

A Beautiful Mystery
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
